ANGELINA (NEE:MATARESE) TROTTO FRAPPOLLI

Angelina (nee:Matarese) Trotto Frappolli formerly of Burlington passed away on Saturday in Burlington Woods Center Burlington Township at the age of 95. She worked as a dress trimmer and presser for the Peerless Dress Factory and also cooked for the priest of St. Paul’s RC Church both in Burlington. She belonged to St. Paul’s Church and their Young at Heart Club as well as the Riverside Moose. Wife of the late John Trotto, mother of the late Louise Carty, Helen Trotto, Frances Meyers; sister of the late Broge and Isadore Matarese, Josephine Spoltore, and Mary DeFlece. She is survived by her children; Warren (Sharon) Trotto, Mary(Max) Gessner; her siblings Frank, Joseph, James, Jr. Matarese; 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family invites friends to her viewing and funeral. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington on Wednesday from 8-10am. Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Paul’s RC Church, across from the funeral home, at 10:30am with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Road, Burlington. ROBERT L. KIRSCHNER, SR.

Robert Louis Kirschner, Sr. of Edgewater Park passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday at the age of 82. Born in Philadelphia and a longtime Edgewater Park resident he retired as a system analyst in the aviation office of the US Naval Aviation Depot in Philadelphia after 33 years of service. He enjoyed old movies, was an avid reader who liked mystery and suspense, and was an all-around Philly sports fan. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Elizabeth C. (nee:O’Donnell), his children Robert, Jr. and Kenneth Kirschner, Elizabeth Hendry, James Risely Jr., Mark (April) Kirschner, Dan (Angela) Risley, Scott (Nicole) Kirschner; his grandchildren Ian Hendry, Andrew Kirschner, Matthew Hendry, Kate & Jonathan Kirschner, Meghan & Sarah Risley, Megan, Jeffery, Josh, Colin, Faye and Jacob Kirschner; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother Edwin and nieces and nephews. The family invites friends to his viewing on Monday, August 2nd from 7-9pm at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Burial will be private in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Wayne K. Jenkins of Burlington Township passed away at his residence on Tuesday at the age of 61. Wayne served his country honorably in the Recon division of the USMC. He worked for the State of NJ for close to 20 years before his retirement. He loved his Harley and GTO, classic cars, camping with his grandchildren, fishing and was also an avid target shooter. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Barbara (nee:Harvey) and their children Melissa (Ron) Katz, Diana (John) Broderick; grandchildren Sydney and Zachary Katz, Sean and Alyssa Broderick; sister Kathleen Fell; Brother Charles M. Jenkins, best friend and brother in law Jack Harvey. The family invites friends to his viewing and funeral service at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Anita Manzer (nee:Plourde) formerly of Burlington passed away on Saturday in Brightview Assisted Living in Mt. Laurel at the age of 83. She is the youngest of 16 children of the late Joseph and Nathalie. She worked for Lerner’s as a retail clerk and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and loved her family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Perry Manzer and their children; Stephen (Sandra) Manzer, Natalie (Robert) Fisher, Marion Manzer, James (Dawn) Manzer; her grandchildren Christopher, Michelle, Michael Manzer, Peter and Bethany Fisher, George, Joseph, James Higby; her great-grandchildren Alec Manzer, Anthony and Isabella Giordano; brothers Girard and Clifford and a sister Anna. The family invites friends to her viewing and funeral. Viewing will be held on Thursday July 22 at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington from 8:30am-10am. Sarah Ashley FergusonSarah Ashley Ferguson, “Our Little Princess”, born August 10, 1994, daughter of Charles & Cathy Ferguson of Westampton, NJ, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia following a brief but intense and courageous battle with “B” cell lymphoma.
Born in Trenton, NJ., Sarah was a Presidential honors graduate of Westampton Middle School and current printing career major student at the Burlington County Institute of Technology. Sarah was a remarkable young lady who was friendly, outgoing and witty. Despite the many physical and medical obstacles she faced Sarah never had a complaint in the world. Sarah participated as a swimmer in the Special Olympics and was an active member of Girl Scouts for several years. Academically Sarah was the model student. Her “I can do” attitude allowed her to earn numerous academic awards. One in particular, the Youth Advocate Award of Merit; awarded to one who through no fault of their own has gone through a life altering event and through it all has managed to maintain academic excellence, a positive attitude and because “Service Above Self” makes the world a better place for those around them. Sarah described herself best when she wrote her poem titled, “All About Me”. I like spending time with Mom and Dad, my sister Jamie, my dogs, my cousin Mallory, my favorite holiday is Christmas and summer vacation. I like to swim, climb trees, jump on the trampoline, jumping on my pogo stick, going to the beach and the boardwalk. My favorite ride is the swings. My favorite desert in mint ice cream.

David S. Gilbert

David S. GilbertDavid S. Gilbert of Burlington township, died Friday, July 16th at his residence, he was 66 years of age. Born in Riverside, NJ., on July 23, 1943, David has been an area resident for many years. Prior to his retiring, Dave had been employed in the customer service department of AIG Insurance Company in Maryland. A member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church he served as a bell ringer for services and volunteered his time in helping with functions at the church such as the Ladle of Love, a dinner that is offered to residents of the community on Thursday evenings. A member of Burlington Lodge #32, F. & A.M. he also was a member of the Red Dragon Canoe Club in Edgewater Park. Dave enjoyed various types of sports and in his spare time he enjoyed collecting models of collectable cars.
Son of the late Harry Gilbert and brother of the late Lee (Gilbert) Zimmerman, he is survived by his loving mother; Virginia (nee Hurff) Gilbert of Burlington township as well as nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Requiem Mass will be offered Thursday morning at 11:00 in Old St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, corner of West Broad and Wood Streets, Burlington. Reverend J. Connor Haynes, Rector, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Churchyard. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington. Elizabeth "Bette" Dodds
July 15, 2010

Elizabeth "Bette" DoddsElizabeth “Bette” Dodds, age 84, recently of New Holland, PA., passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2010 after losing a courageous battle against cancer. Bette grew up in Burlington, NJ., and graduated from Burlington High School and then Peirce School in Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death in 2006 by her husband John W. Dodds, a career Air Force officer. Through his military service they together traveled the world, including places such as Germany, Taiwan and England eventually retiring to the Columbus section of Burlington, NJ.
She is survived by her three children, Beth and her husband Ned of New Holland, PA., John of Arlington, VA., and Susan and her husband Bill also of New Holland, PA. She was “Grandmom” to Kate, Matthew, Leeann, Hayley and Luke and great-grandmother to Javon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
A celebration of Bette’s life will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Café` Gallery, 219 High St., Burlington. Bette volunteered for the American Red Cross as a “Gray Lady” in several area hospitals, therefore, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, Box 4002018, Des Moines, IA 50340-2018. Joanne Benson Marshall
July 14, 2010

Joanne Benson Marshall of Westampton, died yesterday at home after a four year battle with mesothelioma. She was 67 years old. She was married in 1966 to Thomas Marshall and is the mother of Meghan Mazick of Hershey, PA, and Julie Blackstock of Union City, NJ. Also surviving is her sister, Kathryn Wilks, of Levittown, PA and her brother, Richard Benson, of Sewell, NJ. Her grandchildren are Kevin, Chloe, Rachel and Natalie Mazick of Hershey. She was the daughter of Cornell and Billie Benson of Camden and Willingboro.
A native of Camden, she graduated from Camden Catholic High School and then Trenton State College in 1965 and taught English in the Willingboro high schools for several years.
Joanne enjoyed reading, movies and travel and was an avid collector of antiques.
After she was diagnosed with mesothelioma in early 2006, she was determined to extend her life. With the aid of her physicians, she struggled valiantly in order to be an example to her family and friends. She succeeded.
Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association Hospice assisted in Joanne’s care for the final two weeks of her life and the family extends their heartfelt thanks. Special thanks to Del Thompson and Liz Earley, R. N.
A viewing will be held at the Page Funeral Home at 302 East Union Street, Burlington, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 16. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted in CAMDEN by Rev. Michael Doyle at the Sacred Heart Church at 1739 Ferry Avenue on Saturday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m.

Carl E. Brown on July 8, 2010 passed at home surrounded by
family and friends. Carl was the former CEO of Delaware Valley Medical
Center in Langhorne, Pa. He is survived by his wife Christina Taylor of
Burlington Township, father Ernie Brown and longtime companion Dee
Kurpieski of Burlington, brother Bruce and Sandy Brown of Portland
Oregon, mother & father in law Ken and Marge Taylor of Burlington,
sister and brother in laws; Ken and Kathy Taylor of Burlington, Terry
and Pat Yurko of Edgewater Park, John and Louise Taylor of Medford,

Edith H. ColesEdith H. Coles (nee Knowles) of Burlington died Wednesday, June 30th at her home in Burlington, she was 87 years of age. A lifelong Burlington resident, Edith was a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II and the Korean War for Fleetwings in Bristol, PA. She had also worked as a waitress for four years at the Chatterbox in Florence and the Golden Dawn Diner in Edgewater Park for 39 years “and 3 days”. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting beaded doilies for family and friends. Her biggest joy though was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents; Martin and Mary Freck; her husband, Raymond D. Coles, Sr., her son Raymond D. Coles, Jr., and Janice & Lowell Erkert, she is survived by her daughter and son in law; Carol & Robert Wagoner, Jr. of Willingboro her grandchildren: Rob W. Coles, Tracey & Rich Wagner, Gina Lynn & Robert Ieradi, Jr., Frank K. Hopps,III, Christopher R. Hopps, Robin & Elijah Littlewood, Robert L. Wagoner, Sharon L. Wagoner and Leah & Vito Manganaro,III.; her great-grandchildren: Anthony Michael Ieradi, Nicholas Ieradi, Zachary Tyler Hopps, Samantha Hoops, Melanie Littlewood, Tammy Littlewood, Chase William Perry, Vito Samuel Manganaro, Clayton Coles, Joshua Coles, Calli Coles, Ryan Wagner, Matthew Wagner, Dale Wagner and Rachel Wagner. Karolina Spellacy, 28, of Burlington Twp., passed away at her home on June 28, 2010. Karolina was born October 3, 1981 in Bialystok, Poland. She was the daughter of Zdzistawa and Leon Jakimowicz. Following her immigration to the United States, Karolina gained U.S. Citizenship, graduated from Strayer University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Karolina was also a member of the Beverly Road Fire Co. in Burlington Twp. Soon after Karolina’s arrival to America, like a page out of a love story, she met the love of her life and husband of five wonderful years, Steven Spellacy. There is little that Karolina could not accomplish in life; she was always positive with a good attitude and a bright smile wherever she blessed her presence. Karolina is survived by her well respected and loving husband Steven Spellacy; parents Zdzistawa and Leon Jakimowicz; cousins Rafael and Monika Laszkowski as well as other relatives in Poland and Canada. A viewing will be held for friends and family on Saturday July 3, 2010 from 8:30-9:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul’s R.C. Church, E. Union St., Burlington at 10am. A celebration of life gathering will take place afterward at the Beverly Rd. Joseph Crossley, age 69, died Friday June 25, 2010 at his residence in Florence, NJ. Mr. Crossley was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of Croyden before moving to Florence. He was employed for over 30 years at General Machine Products in Trevose, PA until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, particularly in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife Blanche (nee McLaughlin), his son; William Joseph Crossley, his daughters; June Southwick and Colleen Eldridge, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers William and Robert Crossley and his sister Connie Erho. Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday July 1, 2010 at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10-11am. Kenneth DahartKenneth Dahart of Willingboro died Wednesday, June 23rd at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro; he was 66 years of age. Kenneth was born on November 30, 1943 in Fitchburg, Mass. He served his country honorably for 21 years in the United States Army including a tour of duty in Vietnam. He had been employed for many years for Stylex, Inc. as a steel press operator. A member of the “X” Factor Bowling Club he played in various leagues including the Corpus Christi League and the P.S.E. & G. league. A sports enthusiast he was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots teams. In his spare time he enjoyed reading.
Loving husband for 36 years of Kun Cha (nee Lee) Dahart, he was a devoted father to his children; Sharron (Anthony) Montone of Sicklerville, NJ., and Mark Dahart of Willingboro. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Tyler and Ethan and his two brothers; Alan Dahart of Ohio and Kevin Dahart of Florida as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held Monday morning, June 28th from 10:00 – 12 noon at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. DOROTHY "DOT" ROSE (RYBA)
June 17, 2010

Dorothy C. Rose, nee Ryba, of Columbus, NJ., died peacefully Thursday, June 17th, at the age of 82. Born in Trenton, NJ., she resided in Burlington over 70 years. Widow of the late Harold “Lefty” Rose, she is the mother of: Cynthia (Robert) Ballard of Burlington, Nancy Rand & Hoppy Rodenbaugh of Richboro, PA., and Thomas (Valerie) Rose of Sarasota, FL. She is also “Babci” of Ryan (Jill) Ballard, Kelley (Shawn) Brown, Adam and Christopher Rand and Jordan and Katie Rose as well as great-grandmother to Madison Rand. She also leaves her sister, Lois Proniewski of Burlington and brother, Ronald Ryba of Collingswood as well as many loving and caring nieces and nephews.
She was past employee & manager of Lee Wards store in Willingboro and had been employed for 12 years at Strawbridge & Clothier. She was past president of the Polish-American Club of Central Jersey and past president of the Woman’s Club of Burlington as well as substitute secretary for the Burlington City and Township school systems.
As a member of All Saints R.C. Church, Mrs. Rose was an active member of the choir, assisted at the organ and was a past director of the choir. She was also a Eucharistic minister and a lector for the church. Past president of the Altar Rosary Society, past president of St. Anne’s Society and member of the Bernadine Franciscan Association she was a retreaten for 25 years at San Alphonso Retreat House.
Being an avid golfer in the area for many years, Mrs. Rose was also a member and treasurer of the Woman’s Golf Assoc. at Rancocas Golf Course and member of the South Jersey Golf Assoc., as well as the Springfield Golf Course.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. in All Saints R.C. Church, High St., Burlington. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and again Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Lillian M. Lemon (nee: Welsh) formerly of Burlington passed away on Friday, June 11,
in Tidwell Hospice, Florida at the age of 89. Born in Philadelphia, she worked as a secretary for Celotex Corp., Jim Walters Corporation. She was highly involved in crafts and craft shows, and was also an avid doll collector. Wife of the late Dominick, she is survived by her sons and daughters in law; Mike (Daryl Ann) Lemon and Donn (Lorraine) Lemon, both of Florida; her grandchildren Michael, Jr., Kyle, Donn, Scott, Kristy, great-grandchildren Michael, Chase, Dominick, Nicole, a brother Bill Welsh and nephew Bill, Jr. Friends are invited to her viewing on Monday from 8:00am-9:00m at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Leanore “Lee” Lontz (nee:Polito) formerly of Burlington passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends at her daughter’s residence in North Carolina on Thursday at the age of 90. Lee worked for and retired from General Motor’s in Trenton after 32 years of service. Lee was very active in the Burlington community belonging to and holding positions in many organizations. Member and Past President of the Good Cheer Club, and Vice President of the local chapter of the A.A.R.P. and member of St. Paul’s Young at Heart Club, St. Joseph’s Sr. Citizens Club of Beverly, Catholic Daughter’s of America Court Prudentia Chapter, Mt. Holly Sr. Citizens Club, and a Charter Member of the Riverfront Sr. Citizens Club. Affecionately called "Momma Lee"by her New Bern friends, she missed her trips to the casino's in A.C., and her friends from the various clubs. Lee loved watching her soaps in the afternoon, crocheting, and taking walks. She was the daughter of the late Leonardo and Mamie Mango Polito and sister of the late Baby John Polito, John, Leonard,& Robert Polito, Esther Rapagna, Carolyn Raulston and former husband Theodore Lontz. She is survived by her daughter Lea Strand and husband Harry of New Bern,NC; her brother Salvatore Polito and his wife Ruth and Michael Polito all of Burlington; her special caregiver, Margaret Bell of NC and many nieces and nephews. The family invites friends to her viewings and funeral mass. The viewings will be held at Page Funeral Home 302 E. Union St, Burlington on Wednesday June 16th from 7-9pm and Thursday from 8:30-9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday in St. Paul’s RC Church, E. Union St., Burlington at 10am with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Patricia A. (Trish) Bintliff-Eaves

Patricia A. (Trish) Bintliff-Eaves, died Tuesday June 8, 2010 at her residence in Willingboro surrounded by her family. Mrs. Eaves was born in Riverside and remained a lifelong area resident. She was the “daytime mother” to the children she babysat and was a caregiver to all who knew her. She was also a volunteer for Samaritan Hospice, where she met her good friend and confidant, Shelia Powell. In her spare time she was an avid bowler and especially enjoyed trips to Smithville and Ocean Grove. Daughter of the late Leonard Bintliff and Patricia (Pinto) Bintliff, Trish is survived by her husband; Wayne T. Eaves, Sr., her sons; Harold J. Rockhill, Brian A. Rockhill and Wayne T. Eaves, Jr., all of Willingboro, her grandson; Joseph R. Rockhill, her charge; Dale Mooney, her siblings; Leonard Bintliff, TeriLee Slaughter, Gary Bintliff and Jesse Bintliff, her “mom” Shelia Powell and her mother in law Judy Graham. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and other relatives too numerous to mention. A memorial service for Trish will be held 11am Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1308 Mt. Holly Rd., Burlington. Friends and relatives may gather at the church beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Trish’s memory may be made to Wayne T. Henry F. "Harry" O'Neill

Henry F. O’Neill, “Harry” age 86 died peacefully Monday June 7, 2010 at his residence in Burlington Township. Mr. O’Neill was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong resident. He was an army veteran of World War II, serving his country honorably in battles and campaigns in Naples, Arno, Foggia and Rome, Italy, where he was injured during combat. After the war he returned home, married his beloved Dorothy with whom he enjoyed a loving marriage of 52 years and worked as a machinist for Joseph Titone’s in Burlington for over 50 years. He enjoyed playing the lottery and trips to Atlantic City with Dorothy until her death in 2000. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered by those who knew him as a great person to be around and a funny guy with a great sense of humor. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Samaritan Hospice for all of their help during this difficult time. Husband of the late Dorothy (nee Seward), he was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Mr. O’Neill is survived by his daughters; Suzanne (Thomas) Long of Burlington and Barbara Jean Hyer (Richard) of Missouri, his grandchildren; Barbara Anne (Nicholas) Cerasoli, Stephanie Anne (David) Kenney, Michael David Long, Jennifer Michelle (James) Warner and Brain Hyer, his great-grandchildren; Anna Dorothy Chilton, Douglas Chilton, Cameron Dorothy Kenney, David Henry Kenney and Colin Warner. He is also survived by his sisters and brother; Ann Clark, John (Ruth) O’Neill and Theresa Lafferty as well as several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30am Friday, June 11, 2010 in St. Paul’s R.C. Church, E. Union St., Burlington. Friends and relatives may call at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E.
