Barbara Cardinale Obituary

Barbara Cardinale of Palmyra passed away on December 5, 2016 at the age of 58. She began her fight with cancer in 2010. After a lengthy treatment and brief remission the cancer returned this year. Throughout her lengthy illness Barbara did her best to keep her wit and humor. Prior to her illness she had worked in medical records for the Rothman Institute at Jefferson Hospital. Barbara was known as a talented cook who loved her dog Dooney. She lived life on her own terms. The daughter of Andrew (deceased) and Arline Mazzella, wife of Juan Frias with whom she had a son Frankie Frias, sister of Cathy (Rudy) Grilli, Anthony Mazzella, Andrew (Kathy) Mazzella, and Theresa Mazzella. She is also survived by nieces,nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend Ellen Rossi. At the family's request funeral services were held privately.
