Doris A Rigg

Doris A. Rigg of Burlington Twp., died Sunday November 13, 2016 at the Masonic Home of NJ in Burlington Twp., at the age of 99. Born in Edgeley, PA Doris was a longtime resident of the Burlington area. She was employed as a private duty nurse for over 40 years before her retirement. Doris was a member of the Women's Club of Burlington and the Beverly/Edgewater Park Senior Citizen's Club. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas and was a passionate fan of college basketball. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adams, Doris was proceeded in death by her husband, Frank H. Rigg, Sr., daughter Janet Worsinger, son Frank H. Rigg, Jr., sisters Edna Force and Jayne Sampson and her grandson Blair Rigg. She is survived by her nephews Noel and David Sampson, daughter in law Bobbi Horowitz-Rigg, Grandchildren Luke Smith, Carol, Leslie, Jeff W., Jeff M. ,and Britta Worsinger, Frank H. Rigg, III & Liz Katawick, Evelyn and Mark Zangaro and Cheryl Alter., Great (indeed) - Grandmother of Audrey Worsinger, Mara Carlon, Taylor and Rachel Katawick, Jacab Zangaro and Kasey Rigg. Great-Great Grandmother of Naomi Worsinger and a surrogate "Gram" to any and all who would receive a hug. You know who you are! She was a friend to all. Visitation will be held Saturday December 3, 2016 from 10:30-11:30am at the Chapel of the Masonic Home, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016. A memorial service will begin at 11:30am. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130, Burlington.
