Ethel "Ginny" Kennedy

Ethel V. "Ginny" Kennedy of Burlington Twp., died Saturday December 17, 2016 at the Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mt. Holly at the age of 86. Born in Burlington, Ginny was a lifelong resident. She worked for several area factories including J. Chein Co. in Burlington City and lastly for Britton Plastics in Burlington Twp, from where she retired. She was a longtime member of the Beverly United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling and taking road trips, particularly to Myrtle Beach, SC where she and her late husband, Robert had a vacation home. Her greatest love was of her family and friends. She and Robert loved to dance and she enjoyed spending time with family, particularly her grandchildren. She was also fond of and looked forward to her monthly lunch outings with her friends. Wife of the late Robert O. Kennedy, Sr., Ginny is survived by her son and daughter in law; Robert, Jr. and Cathy, her daughters and son in law; Cheryl and Rick Craft and Eileen Landry, her grandchildren; Robert Kennedy, III (Laurel), Nathan Kennedy (Elisa), Kelly Kennedy, Kevin Craft (Allison), Karl Craft (Alexandria) and Erin Landry (Andrew) and six great grandchildren, Holly, Donovan, Maura, Ella, Chase and Owen. She is also survived by her brother in law William (Wanda) Kennedy, sisters in law; Helen (Harley) Foelker, Doris Kennedy and Ann Jones, many nieces and nephews and her lifelong friends Alice Cliver and Jane Lefferts. Viewings for Ginny will be held Wednesday, December 21st from 6-8pm and Thursday December 22nd from 10-11am at the Beverly United Methodist Church, 133 Warren St., Beverly. Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday in church. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington.
