Freddy S Sykala

Freddy S. Sykala of Willingboro died December 14, 2016 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly at the age of 62. Born in Riverside, Freddy was a graduate of Burlington City High School and a longtime resident of Willingboro. He was extremely well read and could converse easily on subjects ranging from ancient history to modern day technology and current affairs. He was an avid movie buff and enjoyed classic, history and science fiction movies. He especially enjoyed traveling with his wife, Janet. Freddy will be remembered by all who knew him as a cheerful, pleasant, kind, gentle and extremely generous soul who was always willing to help anyone in need. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Janet Dozier Sykala of Willingboro, his brothers Joseph and Michael Sykala of Burlington, his sister and brother-in-law Jeanne and Buck Borkowski and his niece Lauren Borkowski, all of Burlington Township. A memorial service for Freddy will be held 11am Friday January 27, 2017 at the Delaware Valley Baptist Church, 493 Beverly Rancocas Rd., Willingboro, NJ 08046. Interment will be held privately.
