Genesis (Schipps) Montagano On March 21st. Genesis passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Genesis was the daughter of Giovanni and Liberart Ianiro. She was one of their eleven children. Genesis was born on January 26, 1920. She was a resident of Burlington City, NJ for over 93 years and was a lifetime member of the First Christian Assemblies Church which was first started in her late parents home which was located on Broad Street. Genesis was the loving wife of the late Antonio Schipps and the late John Montagano. She was also the loving and caring mother to the late Anthony Schipps. She is leaving behind a son and daughter-in-law Craig and Dawn Schipps of Port Orange, FL, a daughter and son-in-law MaryAnn and David Hersh of Port Saint Lucie, FL. A step-daughter Joann Randalf of Tacoma, WS and step-son John Montagano of Carson City,NV. Genesis was also blessed with 6 grandchildren, Kristina Schipps, Kimberly Schipps-English, Ashley Schipps-Silvey, Heather Schipps, Jessica Hoge, Robert Hoge and 13 great-grandchildren. A private burial will be held at Odd Follows Cemetery. The family will request that donations be made to her family to help cover the cost of final services instead of flowers.
