Genevieve Salaga

Genevieve Agnes Salaga "Jennie" (Nee: Borkowski) of Burlington passed away on Wednesday at her residence at the age of 98. Jennie was a lifelong and devoted member of All Saints RC Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Katharine Drexel Parish of Burlington. She enjoyed a simple life dedicated to her family and her faith. She was predeceased by her husband Peter and their sons: Steven E. and Peter S. Salaga and her brothers Henry, Steven, and Edward and a sister Cecelia. Genevieve leaves to cherish her memory her son Henry "Hank" Salaga; daughters in law Vonda Salaga and Carol Strawbridge. Her grandchildren: Maria Kennedy (Steve), Monica Hehl (Matt), Marianne Herrighty (Sean), Steven Salaga (Laura) Peter Edward Salaga, Eric Strawbridge; great-grandchildren: Julia, Ryan, Matthew, Andrew, Abigail, Aidan, Patrick, Meghan, Ella, Vivian, Trevor; god-child: Theresa Borkowski. The family invites friends to her viewing and funeral mass on Tuesday, September 26 at All Saints RC Church, 502 High Street Burlington. The viewing will be from 9-10am with mass to follow at 10:30. Jennie wishes were for a private ceremony at the cemetery for her family only.
