Glenn R Sandusky

Glenn R. Sandusky of Mansfield, formerly of Burlington and Leesburg Florida passed away Friday April 13, 2018 at the Capital Health Regional Health Care Center in Trenton at the age of 84. Born in Burlington, Glenn was a longtime resident of Burlington before moving to Florida 20 years ago. He recently returned to the area in the Homestead section of Mansfield. He was employed as a Senior Marketing Rep. for PSE&G for many years until his retirement. He was a basketball referee of both high school and college games for over 30 years and was inducted into the NJ Basketball Hall of Fame. He also served as President of the Burlington Twp. Board of Education and was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Burlington Elks Club. Glenn was an avid golfer and sports fan, particularly of the Philadelphia Eagles. He will be most remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Mildred (Willey) Sandusky, his brothers Willis and Andrew and his son Kevin. He is survived by his wife of 62 years and high school sweetheart, Alta (Conard) Sandusky, his sister Mildred Simmons, his children; Kym Sandusky, Karin (Gary) Carugno, and Kathy (Robert) Vannier, his grandchildren; Joshua (Gina) Lowden, Gary (Megan) Carugno, Zachary Carugno and Emma Graham and Liam Graham, his great grandchildren; Gianna, Mia, Jacoby and MacKenna, and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 10-11am Wednesday April 18, 2018 at the Presbyterian Church of Burlington, 300 Mill Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016. A memorial service will begin at 11am at the church. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington.
