Grace (Nee: Jacobi) Saragnese

Grace Saragnese (Nee: Jacobi) of Burlington passed away on Thursday in Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly at the age of 90. She was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong resident who graduated from Burlington City High School Class of 1944. She worked as a payroll clerk at Ft. Dix thru 1949 and then joined Bell Telephone in Burlington. She worked for and retired from Bell Telephone/Verizon attaining awards throughout her career. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church of Burlington. Devoted wife of the late Walter D. Saragnese, Sr. and sister of the late Marguerite Pascucci, she was the loving mother to: Walter Daniel Saragnese, Jr. (Donna), Don (Susan) Saragnese and Donna Lee Saragnese. A devoted grandmother to Peter (Arianne) Saragnese, Chrissy Saragnese, Dana Saragnese, Matthew Saragnese; proud great-grandmother of Maverick; dear sister of Frances (Harry) DiSeveria, Anne Jacobi and many nieces and nephews. The family invites friends to attend her viewing and funeral service on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Burlington Presbyterian Church, 300 Mill Road, Burlington. Viewing will be from 930-1030am with her funeral service at 11am and burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
