Jeanne C. Locker

Jeanne Carol Locker, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday January 3, 2017. Jeanne was born March 30, 1936 to Charles and Elizabeth Cooper. She married Edward (Ed) Locker, Sr. on July 10, 1953. They were married for 54 years before he became ill and passed away on November 14, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, her daughter Cynthia (nee Locker) Opdyke and her daughter-in-law Leeann Locker. She is survived by her children Edward William & his wife Lavanda Locker, Jr. of Cleveland, OK and Robert Joseph Locker of Burlington. She is the proud grandmother of; Jennifer, Christopher and Adam Locker, all of Burlington. Edward William Locker of Maple Shade, Johnathan Opdyke of Delran, Ernest, Jr., Andrew and Elizabeth Opdyke all of Burlington, her three step grandchildren; April Galaviz and family, Alyson Harvey and family and Vandi Porter and family all of OK, three great grandchildren of Burlington and six step great grandchildren of OK. She is also survived by a son-in-law Ernest Opdyke, Sr. of Burlington and a host of other family members and friends. She loved going to the shore, fishing and camping when the children were young. She also bred and showed Chihuahua dogs and won many trophies. Her and her dad loved to go to auctions. They spent much of their time in the mountains of upstate Pennsylvania. She will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Locker families on Friday morning between 8:30 am and 9:30 am at Old St. Mary's Episcopal Church 145 W. Broad St. Burlington where a Requiem and Holy Eucharist will be celebrated in New St. Mary's Church at 10:00 am. Interment and graveside tribute will follow in St. Mary's Churchyard.
