Leon Goodlin

Leon Goodlin of Burlington Township, died Wednesday July 12, 2017 at his residence at the age of 89. Born in Turtle Creek, PA Leon has been a resident of Burlington Twp. for the past 52 years. He was an army veteran of World War II, serving in occupied Japan toward the end of the war. He retired as a machinist from US Steel in Fairless Hills, PA after over 20 years of service. In his spare time he loved gardening, and looked forward each year to planting his tomato and pepper plants. Leon was predeceased by his sister Jeanne McElroy. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Helen (Locke), his children; Adele Meyer, Elaine Manz, Shawn Goodlin and Walter Goodlin as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family invites friends and relatives to his viewings and funeral service. Viewings will be held Monday July 17th from 7-9pm and Tuesday July 18th from 11am - 12 noon at Life Gate Assembly of God Church 1607 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington (Springfield Twp). Funeral services will begin at the church at noon. Burial will follow in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown.
