Maryjane Mercuri

Maryjane Mercuri, of Burlington City, NJ, died peacefully in her home with family by her side on Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was 69. Born on April 16 in Philadelphia, PA, she graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, in Willingboro, NJ, in 1966. After working in many positions, she found her most rewarding job to be taking care of the clients of the ARC of Burlington County. She also enjoyed spending time with family at the beach, and took her trip of a lifetime to Europe in 2013. She is preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Maffei, and her uncle, Dr. Michael Maffei, whom she considered her father-figure. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Mark Mercuri; her three children, Jill Gehin (Mike), Matthew Mercuri, and Michael Mercuri; as well as her eight grandchildren, Simone, Sebastien, Andrew, Marc, and Mitchel, Maksim, Michael and Giovanni, along with many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to her viewings and funeral service. Viewings will be Wednesday, April 26 from 7-9pm and Thursday April 27 from 8:30 - 9:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Thursday in St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington. Burial will follow in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Rd., North Hanover, NJ.
