Richard "Rocky" Rencewicz

Richard "Rocky" Rencewicz died suddenly Sunday March 4, 2018 in Burlington City at the age of 67. Born in Riverside, Rocky was a lifelong resident of Burlington City. He was a graduate of Burlington City High School, class of 1968. He worked for the City of Burlington for over 30 years until his retirement. After retiring, he did security work, first for the Burlington City High School and then for the Burlington Coat Factory. He loved sports, especially football. He was an avid fan and follower of the Oakland Raiders. He also enjoyed watching Burlington City High's basketball team and their run through the playoffs. He especially enjoyed time spent with family, friends, his walking buddies and his East Union St., neighbors. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, caring and helpful person; traits he exhibited literally right until the time of his passing. Rocky was predeceased by his parents John and Lucy Rencewicz. He is survived by his brother Robert Rencewicz, his sister and brother in law Linda and Ron Comerford, his nephew and his wife Michael J. and Sohan Rencewicz and his long time best friend Kathy Cabrera. Friends and relatives are invited to his viewing and funeral service. Viewing will be held from 9-10:30am Saturday March 10, 2018 at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Funeral services will be 10:30am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington.
