Amber T Walker-Medford

Amber Walker-Medford was born to Regina Walker (Willingboro, NJ) and Nile Medford (Brooklyn, NY), on Tuesday, April 16, 1991 in New Brunswick, NJ at Saint Peters University Hospital. She departed this life on Friday, October 20, 2017. Amber was the proud mother to her pride and joy Saraiah Cain, whom she always referred to as her "Best Friend" "Babygirl" and affectionately known by her close family and friends as "Stinky" and "Muk" Although Amber was born in New Brunswick, the majority of her early teen years, she grew up in Willingboro where she attended Willingboro Public Schools and graduated from BCIT in 2009. She also attended Lincoln Technical School and acquired a certificate for medical billing and coding. She worked at several jobs over the years to provide for herself and her daughter Saraiah. More recently (past year plus), she was employed at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Florence, NJ. Amber was adored and loved by many people. She was always nice, loved her daughter Saraiah unconditionally, had a beautiful smile and a crazy laugh that made everybody smile and laugh. Amber had a great personality and was always ready to party and have a good time. She was funny and very creative, always had a different hairstyle (unique in her own right). She loved the color purple and if you knew Amber, you know she loved colorful wigs as well, her favorites being purple and platinum blonde. She was strong and stubborn but had a big heart and was very protective. Amber is by far going to be missed but her memory will live on in her daughter Saraiah and all who loved her. Amber leaves to cherish in her memory her daughter Saraiah Cain, mother Regina Walker, father Nile Medford, six siblings: brother - Rohan (Georgia), sister Robin (New York), sister - Brianna "Breezy", brother - Isaiah, sister - Autumn, sister - Joy and surrogate sister Taja. Her maternal grandparents, Mary Walker (Willingboro, NJ) and Arthur (juanita) Walker (New Brunswick, NJ). Paternal grandparents, Malcolm and Gertrude Medford (deceased) and ahost of aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew and a plethora of friends. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Walker and Medford families on Tuesday morning between 10)) and 11:00 am at the Alpha Baptist CHurch 15 Rose St. Willingboro where a home going funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
