Arletta Marie (Rabatin) Volpe

Arletta Marie Volpe (Nee: Rabatin) of Burlington passed away suddenly on Tuesday at the age of 68. She was born in Roebling and was one of 6 children to the late George and Anna Rabatin. She worked for and retired from Burlington Coat Factory. Arletta was a lunch lady at Roebling Elementary and enjoyed helping the children. She loved to read and enjoyed traveling, taking cruises to the Caribbean. She was a devoted Nana to her grandchildren, who she cherished. Arletta was predeceased by her husband Peter V. Volpe, Jr and her siblings: George, Raymond, Virginia Swain, Carmen. She is survived by her loving children: Peter V. Volpe, III (Fiancee' Morgan Rapciewicz), daughter Karen Volpe (Fiancee' Joe Cavallero); grandchildren: Rayanna, Meadow, Domanic; a brother Gary Rabatin (Katie) and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family invites friends to her viewing and funeral mass. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 in St. Paul's RC Church, 223 E. Union Street from 9-10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will begin in the church at 11am with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
