Cindy A. Dye of Burlington City, formerly of Burlington Township and Hightstown passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 at Virtua Hospital Mt. Holly at the age of 48. Born in Willingboro, Cindy was a longtime resident of Burlington Township before moving to Hightstown where she lived for the past 20 years until recently returning to Burlington City. She was employed as the Township Clerk for the City of Asbury Park, until her retirement. She was a past president of the Beverly Road Fire Company No. 2 in Burlington Township and was a volunteer and foster for the dog rescue Wag on Inn. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. Cindy however most enjoyed spending time with her family and her fur babies. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Florence (nee Wostair) Farley, and her brother Daniel Farley. She is survived by her husband Carl Dye, Jr., her daughter Hailey and son Daniel, her sisters and brother in law, Annette and Charles J. Zelauskas and Denise Farley Curiale as well as several nieces, nephews and other family members. A life celebration service will be announced at a later date.
