E Joan Coppola

Eleanor Joan Coppola, age 84, died peacefully on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at her home in Pennswood Village, Newtown PA. Joan was born October 31st, 1932 in Beverly and was the daughter of Robert K. & Caroline C. Shinn. Joan enjoyed socializing with her many friends and the company of family along with quality time on the beaches of Long Beach Island. She graduated form Burlington City High School, class of 1951, where she met the love of her life, Angelo F. Coppola, who she married in 1955. In addition to raising her four children, she was active in the Roman Catholic Church as the secretary at both St. Joseph's Church in Beverly and St. Hedwig Church in Trenton for many years before moving to Pennsylvania and retiring. Joan is the widow of her late husband Angelo F. Coppola and is survived by her children; Karen Carver, Stephen Coppola, Randy & his wife Jeanmarie Coppola and Bob & his wife Diane Coppola. She is the proud grandmother of Kyle, Drew, Kristan, John, Stephen, Jac, Amelia, Madeline and the late Dane Carver. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by a number of other relatives and close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to remember Joan, celebrate long days on the beach and pay tribute to a wife, mother, grandmother and friend as we honor our beloved on Saturday morning between 8:30 am and 9:30 am at Page Funeral Home 302 E. Union St. Burlington, NJ 08016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at All Saints Church 502 High St. Burlington. Burial and the witness of love's reunion will immediately follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
