Edna Mae Doolittle of Burlington passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, June 1, 2020,just a few days after celebrating her 91st birthday on May 28, 1929. A lifelong Burlington resident she worked as a crossing guard for the City of Burlington for over 15 years. She was a devoted wife and mother, but she cherished her time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents: Edward E. Taylor and Mae S. Devlin and her husband James L. Doolittle and late brother: Harry and sister in law Betty, Ruth and Albert Carnivale and Catherine and Walter MacDonald. She leaves to cherish her memory James L. Doolittle, Jr., Sandra (Wesley) Stillwaggon, Bruce (Theresa), Ronald (Debra); 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 5 adopted grandchildren and her sibings: and many nieces and nephews.
