George Plitnikas Obituary

MSGT George P. Plitnikas, formerly of Willingboro and Toms River, passed away on Friday, June 29,2018 at the age of 89. Mr. Plitnikas was born and raised in Newark, NJ, enlisting in the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17 and retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant after 20 years of honorable service. After active duty retirement, George continued to serve his country in civilian positions with both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy. Mr. Plitnikas is survived by his wife Dorothy (nee Rackus) and children George, Valerie, Bernadette, Cynthia, Michael, Karen and Robert. He was the proud grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 3. Funeral Services and military honors will be held privately under the care of Page Funeral Home 302 E. Union St. Burlington.
