George Rizzo

George Rizzo passed away peacefully at his home in Burlington on Sunday July 8, 2018. He was 82 years old. George was a government worker for 39 years. He enjoyed working in his garden, sharing his summer vegetables with family and friends and was an avid fan of horse racing. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Paul's Church in Burlington and could be seen at Parx Race Track everyday with his race track friends. George was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe & Nicolina (nee Pizzotto) Rizzo, siblings; Catherine Biondi, Frances Manzi, Mario Rizzo, his niece Debbie Boor and his special companion Rose Timick. George is survived by his sister Carmela Donovan, nieces; Linda Rizzo, Barbara Webb, Eileen Beebe, Donna Manzi, his nephews; Lou Manzi, Patrick Ryan, Joseph Rizzo, Robert Biondi, Anthony Rizzo and extended family and friends. Viewing will be held Monday morning between 9:00 am and 10:30 am at Page Funeral Home 302 E. Union St. Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Church 223 E. Union St. Burlington, NJ 08016. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
