Larry W Shea

Larry Shea of Burlington City passed away after a brief illness, Tuesday August 28, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at the age of 56. Born in Camden, NJ Larry had lived in Pennsauken, Riverside and Haddon Twp. before moving to Burlington. He was a graduate of Haddon Twp. High School, Class of 1981. At the time of his passing he was employed in the maintenance department of the Springfield Twp. Board of Education. In his spare time Larry enjoyed gardening, going to antique shops, spending time in Seaside and Wildwood and watching car races. His greatest joy however was to watch his daughters play softball. He was the biggest fan of the Misfits softball team. Larry is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Bonanno), his daughters Cassandra and Lauren, his mother Elizabeth Shea, his twin brother Michael (Maureen), his brothers John (Dawn) and Rick Shea, his mother in law Margaret "Peggy" Bonanno as well as his brothers and sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral service. Viewing will be held Sunday September 2, 2018 from 2-3:30pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A funeral service will begin at 3:30pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for Cassandra and Lauren's education may be made to the Lawrence W. Shea Memorial Fund c/o Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ 08016.
