Lawrence "Larry" Anastasi

Lawrence (Larry) Anastasi of Delanco, NJ passed away on October 24th, 2018. Larry was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in its surrounding suburbs before residing in Moorestown, NJ for 20 years and Delanco for the past 10 years. He was 76. Larry's lifelong youthful spirit, desire to learn, and childlike wonder were inspiring. His smile lit up a room. He enjoyed engaging in philosophical conversations and seeking new perspectives. Larry loved Philadelphia sports, traveling, crossword puzzles, and above all else, his family. His loving family includes his wife of 45 years, Beth, his daughter Jill Anastasi Scott and her wife Liz Anastasi Scott, his daughter Julie Anastasi Kuhn and her husband Liam Kuhn, his sisters Marilyn Kirchner and Mary Celebre, his sisters-in-law, Jerri Gerace and Renee Sussman, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Larry especially adored his four grandchildren, Henry, Ella, Rhett, and Cordelia, and the feeling was mutual! Larry was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and Villanova University, studied at Pontificia Università Lateranense in Rome, and built a data processing business called Capture Resource, Inc. He dedicated his golden years to service, including 23 years of service to Al-Anon, volunteering as a mentor to students at E. M. Stanton School in Philadelphia, and serving on the board of the Newton's Landing Homeowners' Association. A memorial service to celebrate Larry's life will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St, Burlington, NJ 08016, on Sunday, October 28th at beginning at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry's memory to Stanton Community Partners (for cultural arts initiatives) or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund). #lifecelebrationbypage
