Louisa Bonanno Obituary

Louisa Bonanno (nee Robertson) passed away Friday April 12, 2019 at her residence in Edgewater Park at the age of 61. Louisa was born in Mt. Holly and was a longtime resident of Edgewater Park. She was a graduate of the Thomas Jefferson School of Nursing, earning her LPN in 1977. She began work for Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill, then for many years she worked for Burlington County Memorial Hospital (Virtua), serving in many different departments. Her last job was at the Baptist Home in Riverton, a position she held until her retirement. Louisa loved doing things for others and being around friends and family. She was a generous gift giver and enjoyed shopping for others. She loved to get together with friends and family both in her backyard and at the shore. An avid beach goer, she loved spending time on Long Beach Island. She also enjoyed the holidays and decorating her house for each and every one. Another passion was cooking and baking, again for family and friends. Obviously friends and family were a big part of Louisa's life and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Daughter of the late William and Muriel (nee Horner) Robertson, Louisa was also predeceased by her sister and brother in law Sandra and Bert Cowgill and her father in law Robert Bonanno. She is survived by her husband Rich, her children; Richard (Diane), Monica and Michael, her grandchildren Lexi and Maci, her brother Jeff (Joan) Robertson, her sister Muriel (Rich) Neff, her twin brother John Robertson (Phyllis), her mother in law Peggy Bonanno, her sisters in law; Robin Levondosky, Nancy Bonanno and Barbara Shea as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins and her favorite cat Remy. Friends and relatives are invited to her viewing and funeral service. Viewing will be held Friday April 19th from 9-11am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Services will begin at 11am. Interment will be held privately.
