Nancy L (Nee: Smith) Markham

Nancy L. Markham (Nee: Smith) 69, of Southampton Township, passed away on Sunday, March 10th at Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly with her husband George at her side. Born in Riverside, she lived most of her life in Burlington, having graduated from BCHS in 1968. Nancy was the daughter of the late Walter and Abigail Smith. She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers in law: Doris and Jack Wagner, Joan and Joseph Snow; brother Lawrence Murphy and nephew Jack D. Wagner. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years George Marlin and her son Gary Markham, Jr. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Lynnette Slatcher, Janis Jones, Lynda Ransburgh, Lisa Shivley, Mark Snow, Sharon Weldon, Kathleen Murphy, Lawrence Murphy, many great nieces and nephws, as well as lifelong friends: Charlotte Downes and Miki Haas. Laugher in the face of adversity kept Nancy going, it kept all of us who loved her going and we will miss her so very much.
