Philip Wooters

Philip Wooters of Edgewater Park, NJ formerly of Burlington, passed away January 17, 2018 surrounded by his wife and family at the age of 76. He was pre-deceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Wooters of Burlington and his brother Joe Wooters of Beverly. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dolores (Huth) and devoted daughters: Cindy, Chrissy Lamb and Pam Goodlin (Shawn) and loving grandchildren: Danielle, Haley and Logan. Also survived by his sister and brother in law Pauline and Donald Wood and his brother and sister in law Tom and Angela Huth and cousins Nancy Edgar (Brian) and William Norcross (Lori). Phil graduated from Burlington City High School, worked at Bishops Dairy in Riverside with his father Elwood. He was retired from Rohm & Haas Co.,Bristol, PA after a long career as a Research Technician and received the Otto Hass Award for Excellence for his work. Phil was an antique an car enthusiast. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church and in his younger years played and coached St. Mary's Softball team. Phil was a hug Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed all the Philadelphia sports teams. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street Burlington from 9-10:45am. Eucharist Mass will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 145 W. Broad Street Burlington at 11:30am with burial to follow in St. Mary's Churchyard. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Mary's Ladle of Love at the above address.
