Raymond J Passarelli

Raymond J. ”Remo” . Passarelli of Burlington passed away after a short courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday at the age of 59. A lifelong Burlington resident, Ray was a graduate of Burlington City High School. Ray worked for and retired from Pathmark. Ray was one of those good guys who was there for his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing in the NJ Pines. Ray was a member of the Roma Club and VFW Post 1817 of Burlington and the former Marconi Lodge. Ray was predeceased by his parents Remo and Lucy Passarelli. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Tina (Nee: Picariello); his sisters: Constance Feola, Jennie Stillwell, Elizabeth Angelini; Joseph and Jordan Brown, whom Ray considered his kids, grandkids Sophia, Ava Brown, mother in law Cynthia Picariello, brother and sisters in law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Monday from 6-8:30pm and also on Tuesday from 8:30-10am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul’s RC Church at 10:30am with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Rutgers Cancer Institute Pancreas Program, RWJ Medical School, 1 RWJ Place MEB464, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
