Thomas Lawrence Ruscitti, passed away peacefully at his home in Brick, NJ on Saturday, after a long battle with cancer at the age of 75. Tom was much loved by all who knew him. He was the son of the late Lawrence Paul and Mildred Chisar Ruscitti of Donora, PA. He graduated from Donora High School in 1960 and played football and baseball. After graduation he entered the US Air Force and served his country honorably from 1960-1964. While stationed at McGuire AFB, he met his wife and the love of his life for 53 years, Janet Duncan of Burlington. After their marriage, they moved to Burlington to raise their 2 children Keith and Kevin Ruscitti. Tom was the EDP Manager for the Lenape School District for 27 years, retiring in 2000. During his 44 years in Burlington, Tom was active in coaching youth baseball for 14 years and was a member of the Roma Club. Tom has enjoyed his home in Brick for the last 9 years, where he enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his grandchildren off the dock in his backyard. A devoted family man, his family was the most important thing to him, especially attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by his wife Janet, their sons: Keith (Gloria) of Bayville, NJ and Kevin (Lisa) of Ridgefield, CT. Five grandchildren: Thomas, Angelina, Sophia, Owen and Jackson; a brother Anthony Ruscitti, sister in law Joan Keefer and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank Holy Redeemer Hospice especially , Mie Lowe and Sonia Johnson. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him. The family invites friends to his viewings at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington. Viewings will be held on Friday from 6-8pm and also on Saturday from 9:30-10:30am. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am at the Burlington Presbyterian Church, 300 Mill Road Burlington. Burial services will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington.
