Walter MacDonald of Willingboro died Saturday September 16, 2017 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly at the age of 87. Born in Bristol, PA, Walt was a longtime resident of Willingboro. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served honorably in the army. He was employed as a utility operator for Rohm and Haas Chemical Co. in Bristol until his retirement. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Willingboro for over 50 years. He was a fan of the Phillies and the Eagles and also enjoyed bowling and walking. However his greatest love was for his family. Walt is survived by his wife Catherine(Taylor) MacDonald, whose hand he held for 66 years, his daughter Judy Connors, son Kevin MacDonald, granddaughter and the apple of his eye Shannon(Connors) and her husband Tom Solecki and great grandson TJ Solecki, who always made him smile. Visitation for Walt will be held Monday, September 25th from 5-7pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Military honors will be rendered 6:30pm Monday at the funeral home.
