Wilma Koon Obituary

Wilma Jean Koon (Nee: Shelton) of Southampton, passed away at Samaritan Hospice and Healthcare in Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly at the age of 84. Wilma worked as a waitress and enjoyed meeting and talking with people and making connections. She then went to school to become a home health aide, again using her personality to make connections and to help people get into better situations with their health. She enjoyed making crafts, animals, flowers and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband: Lester and is survived by her 5 children; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, her siblings and her friends. A private service will be held at the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
