Agnes B. Cognigni of Burlington passed away April 15, 2025, at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly at the age of 90. Agnes was born in Riverside on January 29, 1935, to the late Agnes and William Bintliff. Agnes was a 1952 graduate of Riverside High School where she was part of the Student Government, Drum and Bugle Corps, Cheerleading, and played Basketball and Field Hockey. Agnes had a love for music and dancing. She met the love of her life, Evo, on the dance floor in 1954 and recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. She went on to work as a Secretary at Glenview Metal, U.S. Pipe, and J. Chein Inc. Agnes continued to enjoy the sport of bowling, reading, and Septembers at the beach on LBI.
Agnes was predeceased by her sisters Betty Maccar, Mary Volpe, and her brother William Bintliff. She will be forever in the hearts of her loving husband Evo J. Cognigni, her two sons Alan, Brian (Shawna), daughter Maria (Bob), and her beloved grandsons Chad, Christian, Aaron and Troy. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 9:00-11:00 am at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 4527 US Rt. 130 Burlington.
