Alan Maver Obituary

Alan Maver of Burlington, New Jersey passed away on Friday, December 24th 2021. He passed away in his home at the age of 60 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by His wife Sharon (Palm), his son Alan (Chelsea), daughter Samantha, son Richard, mother Gloria, sister Barbara, brother Wayne (Christina), mother-in-law Elsie Palm, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father David Maver and brother David Maver. He was a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Burlington, never missed an opportunity to share the Word of God, and loved (nervously) preaching on occasion. He retired from the Department of Corrections. Alan loved coaching street hockey, softball, and baseball. After retirement he became an avid gardener, loved walking his dog, Cooper, and tried his best to “Catch ‘Em All!”

Alan was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. It goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway, he will be missed!

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Alan’s name to, Fox Chase Cancer Center or First Baptist Church of Burlington.

Services will be at the First Baptist Church in Burlington, 335 Stacy Street.

Viewing 6-8pm on Wednesday December, 29th.

Viewing 9-10am Thursday December 30th, funeral service will start at 10.
