Alfred R Senni, Sr.

Alfred R. Senni of Burlington Twp died peacefully Monday July 22, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on October 26,1928 in Camden, NJ to Alfredo and Jennie Senni, Al lived a very distinguished and full life, quite the renaissance man. Before starting his professional career, Alfred fulfilled his military duty serving in the U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge, Alfred returned home to Camden where he met his bride to be Elizabeth. They were married in 1953, and a few years later relocated to Burlington Twp, where they raised 5 children. Alfred had a long and accomplished career with Fifth Dimension, Inc. as an Engineer, Manufacturing Manager, and CEO. In addition, he founded a company that designed and manufactured pharmaceutical test equipment. Upon his retirement he enjoyed many hobbies including painting, cooking, woodworking, and fishing. Looking for a new challenge, he discovered a real passion for writing, and wrote over a dozen books. He continued to actively write up until the time of his death. His greatest love in life was his family. He particularly enjoyed the family gatherings, especially the Christmas Eve family dinner, and his house was an open door where everyone was welcome.

Alfred was predeceased by his wife of 51 years Elizabeth (Brust), son Alfred Jr (Carolyn), and sister Nora. He is survived by 4 children, Michael Senni (Vanessa) of Burlington Twp., Joann Welsh (Edward) of Westminster, MD, Bruce Senni (Jeanne) of Burlington Twp., and Matthew Senni (Jennifer) of Mt. Laurel. He was also the grandfather of Janet, Michael, Daniel, Stephen, Joseph, Anthony, Zachary, Jonathan, Matthew, and Gabriella. In addition, he had 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his very dear companion Dale Mazzella.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral service. His viewing will be held Sunday July 28th from 4-6 pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, in Burlington, NJ and also on Monday from 9:30-10:30am.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday July 29th at 11 am at St. Paul's Church, Burlington. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
