Angelina Melocchi (Nee: Nucci) of Burlington Township, passed away suddenly at Virtua Hospital in Willingboro at the age of 89. She was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime Burlington resident. After graduating from high school, she went to work for U.S. Pipe in Burlington for many years before her marriage to Joe. She then returned to their home to raise their sons. After raising her sons, Angie went back to work at the Burlington County Vocational Technical School as a guidance secretary until her retirement in 1997. She then enjoyed an almost 30 year retirement, taking care of her family and cooking. Angie was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Willingboro for most of her life. While she not able to make it to her church in her later years, she relied heavily on Pastor Gary’s online sermon’s to keep her faith strong. Angelina was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years Joseph as well as her mother and father: Carmela and John, her sister Livia.
Angie leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Christopher (Lori) and Michael. She was a very devoted Nonna to Dominic (Stephanie) and Alexis and adored her two great-grand daughters Hazel and Violet. Angie wished for a private funeral for her family and will be reunited with Joseph in Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum.
