Ann (O’Neill) Clark, of Burlington City, NJ, passed away on September 3, 2024 after a courageous battle against cancer at her daughter’s home. Ann was born on August 1, 1936, and was a devoted mother to her daughters, Judith A. Sprague and Terry L. Clark, mother-in-law to Thomas A. Sprague, and grandmother to Elizabeth A. Sprague and Julia A. Sprague. Ann was a lifelong Burlington City resident who worked as an Assistant Branch Manager at First Fidelity Bank in Burlington. Ann cared for many years for her elderly father, William A. O’Neill, who had served as the Chief of the Burlington City Police Department. Ann also lovingly cared for many years for her brother, Leedom J. O’Neill and her sister, Mary M. Miller. Ann will be most remembered for the love and compassion she showed towards her family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her, especially her dear friend and life companion, John P. Filippine. She will be deeply missed by her family who meant everything to her. Ann was predeceased by her parents, William A. O’Neill and Lillian E. O’Neill, her sisters, Elizabeth Wagner, Mary Miller, Margaret McBreen, and Teresa Laverty, and her brothers, William O’Neill, Harry O’Neill, John O’Neill, Leedom O’Neill and Paul O’Neill. She is survived by her daughters, Judith and Terry, son-in-law, Tom, granddaughters, Elizabeth and Julia, and more than fifty nieces and nephews. Ann’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ 08016. Visitation at the church will begin at 9:45 AM. Interment will immediately follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann’s memory may be made to Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center’s Colorectal Program in honor of Dr. Gary W.
