Anna M (Sokol) Freund

Anna M. Freund (Nee: Sokol) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at RWJ Hamilton Serenity Hospice on Saturday at the age of 94. She was born in Trenton and was a longtime Burlington resident. Anna was a devoted Catholic who was a parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the choir. Anna worked for and retired from the Stephan Insurance Agency. Anna was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years. William G. Freund. She is survived by their children: William D., Lawrence, Joseph, Ina Cochran; grandchildren Eric, Justin, Barbara, Raven, Lydia, Wyatt, Ross and great-grandchildren.  A visitation will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Saturday from 11am-12noon. A prayer service will begin at 12 with Fr. Jerome presiding. Burial will be held privately by her family in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
