Anna A. Widmyer

Anna A. Widmyer (nee Atzert) of Burlington, died Thursday, May 31st at her residence; she was 92 years of age. Born in Beverly, NJ, on April 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen Atzert. Anna had been employed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Employee Services for 37 years, retiring as office manager in 1988. In her spare time she enjoyed doing various types of craftwork, such as ceramics, crocheting and other types of needle work. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Widmyer, who died in 1994. She is survived by her son, Donald E. Widmyer of Burlington. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass to be offered Friday, June 8th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul's R.C. Church, E. Union St., Burlington. Interment of cremains will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington. There will be no viewing/visitation prior to Mass. Arrangements are under the direction of Page Funeral Home, Burlington.
