Anna Jane (Saragnese) Green

It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Jane Green, of Burlington, announce her passing, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age of 91. A graduate of Burlington City High School Class of 1951, Anna Jane (née Saragnese) was a long-standing member of the Presbyterian Church of Burlington. She enjoyed many bus trips with the Happy Travelers Group, family vacations on Long Beach Island, and the companionship of her beloved dogs. Yet, spending time with her family and friends was valued and treasured. She loved her Phillies and listening to Andrea Bocelli. For many years, she worked for the Burlington City School District as a teacher's aide and a secretary. As the matriarch of her family, over the years she enjoyed hosting holiday events, especially Christmas Eve. She is preceded in death by her soulmate and best friend, her husband of 68 years, Joseph W. Green. Anna Jane was a strong, dedicated, loving mother to their three children, Terri Balzano, B. Bruce (Maria) Green, and Louise (John) Taylor. Her seven grandchildren, Melissa (Damon) Quattrone, Lauryn Balzano Perricone, Jared Green, Natalie (Aaron) King, Riannon Taylor, Brielle Taylor, and Evan Taylor always brightened her days and her four great grandchildren, Camryn Curiale, Miadolce Perricone, Damon Quattrone, Jr., and Ava Jane Quattrone held a special place in her heart. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Anna Jane is also preceded in death by her parents, Daniel & Theresa Saragnese, and her sister, Louise Razgatis, and brothers Walter and Eugene Saragnese. A celebration of her life will be held On Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Page's Funeral Home, in Burlington, NJ. 302 E. Union Street. The viewing will be from 9:30-11am, funeral service at 11am with mausoleum entombment to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
