Anthony "Tony" Polito Obituary

Anthony “Tony” Polito of Burlington Township, passed away at the Masonic Village, Burlington on April 18, 2021, at the age of 94. Anthony was born in Beverly and was a longtime volunteer fireman with Hope Hose #2 Fire Department. He worked as a General Contractor, who could be found in his workshop garage any day of the week. Tony was an active member of St. Paul’s RC Church and the Knight’s of Columbus. Tony enjoyed working the Bingo games for the church, driving around the riverfront towns, and catching up with friends to reminisce about the old days. He also enjoyed working with his nephews and making sure he had enough bird seed for feeding the birds in the yard. Tony was predeceased by his loving wife Pauline (Nee: Coccia) in 2016. A walk-through viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 8:30am-9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul’s RC Church, on Friday at 10am with burial  to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Facial covering and social distance measures will be observed.
