Arthur H Sheridan, Sr.

Arthur H. Sheridan, Sr., of Delran and formerly of Burlington City passed away Sunday June 15, 2025 at Samaritan in Mt. Holly at the age of 80. Born in Riverside, Arthur was a longtime resident of Burlington City. He worked as a custodian for the Willingboro Twp. Schools until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of the Mitchell Fire Co. and the Neptune Hose Co., both in Burlington City. Arthur loved spending time at the shore crabbing and traveling to his favorite place, Cape May. In his younger days he enjoyed roller skating and he also loved eating out, particularly at the Olive Garden. Arthur was predeceased by his parents, Arthur J. and Edna Sheridan, his siblings; Doris, John and Irvin and his wife Claire. He is survived by his children; Arthur, Jr. and Diane Sheridan, his grandson Daniel Sheridan and his brother and sisters; Raymond Sheridan, Betty Ann Becker and Anna Irwin as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Arthur will be held Saturday, August 23rd at 11am at the Levittown Church of God, 571 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054. Visitation will be from 10am – 11am Saturday at the church. Interment will be held privately.
