Barbara Callahan (Nee: Carvin) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14 at the Masonic Village in Burlington Township at the age of 90. Born in Camden, she was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and then Bryn Mawr Nursing School Class of 1956. She is retired from The Evergreens Retirement Community. She enjoyed time with family and friends. She liked to be with people, whether traveling far and near or attending gatherings to learn or broaden her knowledge. She enjoyed gardening in her younger years. Board and card games were also enjoyed as were crafts and projects.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 14 years William F. Callahan and her brother Russell Carvin, Jr. She is survived by her children: Christine (Joseph) Linderman, Judy (Erich) Nigl; grandchildren: Jacinda Marie Linderman, Michael T. Linderman, Joshua Max Nigl, a sister in law: Joan and nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at the Masonic Village, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016 on Saturday, January 24, 2026 The Chapel is located off the intersection of Jacksonville and Oxmead Roads. Greetings will begin at 10:30AM and Services will start at 11AM.
