Bernadine McMonagle Obituary

Bernadine ‘Bern’ McMonagle passed away on August 2nd, 2024 at the age of 64. She was a caring wife, mother, nana, sister and friend.

She was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania to Francis and Blanche Whelan on September 30th, 1959. Bern married her husband of 43 and a half years, Jay McMonagle, on January 17th, 1981. Together they had two sons, John (Rebecca) and Adam (Jennifer). Bern cared deeply for her four grandchildren, Frances, Callan, Otis and Hallie and was excited to add her fifth in February. Bern is also survived by her four siblings: Geraldine (John), Christine (Michael), Rick (Jackie), and Francine.

As a life-long Burlington County resident, Bern loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed vacations to the beach and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Bern devoted her professional career to being an executive assistant at McCollister’s Transportation. With the best laugh and infectious personality, Bern left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, August 8th from 6:00-8:00pm at Page Funeral Home. Family will also welcome guests on Friday, August 9th from 8:30-9:30am followed by a 10:00am mass service at St. Paul’s Church.
