Bessie Stevenson Obituary

Bessie Stevenson (Nee: Frazier) of Beverly, passed away on Sunday surrounded by her loving family at the age of 85. She was born in Burlington and graduated from Wilbur Watts High School class of 1954. She was longtime Beverly resident who enjoyed cooking, reading and going to the casinos. Bessie and her late husband “Dooney” loved to spend time at their home in Surf City, taking cruises and going on vacation to the Bahamas. Bessie loved to spend time with her family and cherished being with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Dillwyn IV and her husband of 54 years Dillwyn S. Stevenson III “Dooney”. She leaves to cherish her memory their children: Donna (Steve) Colangelo, George (Kim) Stevenson; grandchildren: Dillwyn “Dooney” V, Brittany, Steven (Colleen), Allison, Duncan, Aidan, great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Dillwyn VI, AnnaLea, Cora, Cash, nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Thursday from 10-11am. A funeral service will begin at 11 with burial to follow in Monument Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to Monument Cemetery Charitable Trust, 812 Bridgeboro Road, Beverly, NJ 08010.
