Bithiah Brown Obituary

Bithiah Arroyo Brown, beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend passed away on April 18, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of strength, spirit, and athletic passion.

Raised in Willingboro, NJ, Bithiah spent much of her youth playing sports, where her love for competition and teamwork truly came to life. She participated in swimming and diving competitions from an early age and also found joy and challenge in basketball and beyond. Her natural talent and drive were evident in everything she did, and her passion for sports continued well into her adult years.

Whether in the pool, on the court, or simply encouraging others to push their limits, Bithiah embodied perseverance and enthusiasm. She thrived on challenges and inspired those around her to give their best — not just in sports, but in life.

Known for her unwavering compassion and sense of justice, Bithiah was the kind of person who came to the aid of anyone who couldn’t defend themselves, whether it was family, friend, stranger—or herself. She never hesitated to help those in need, always putting others before herself with a fierce and loving heart.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Stephanie (Troy), Jennifer, and Jessica. Her cherished grandchildren—Samir, Maniyah, Tré, Naseim, and Kamden—brought her immeasurable pride and joy. She is also survived by her father, Gilberto Arroyo, Sr., and her loving siblings: Gilbert Arroyo, Jr., Monica Rivera (Israel), Jorge Arroyo (Lisa), Wilson Arroyo (Vineet), Tracy Beach (Robert) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Manuela S. Arroyo, and her brother, Steven Arroyo, Sr.

She will be remembered always for her boundless energy, fearless spirit, and the way she lived life with heart.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at the Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Road, Burlington, NJ.
