Bruce Kevin Gosizk, 61, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Burlington, NJ, Bruce was known for his boundless enthusiasm and dedication to those he loved.
Bruce was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend, whose life was marked by his deep passion for sports and his unwavering support for the Boston Red Sox. As a committed coach, he inspired countless young athletes with his dedication and genuine love for soccer, baseball, and basketball. His coaching extended beyond the field and courts, teaching his players the value of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Bruce’s warmth, kindness, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his commitment to his community, and his unwavering support for his loved ones. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife Deneen of 31 years, his daughters Nicci and Simone(Walker), and his son Joseph(Julia), his brothers Brett and Brian, and his parents Barbara and John.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, September 21st. Visitation will be from 8-10am with a memorial service beginning at 10am. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, online at donate.cancer.org in Bruce’s honor.
Bruce’s spirit, like the games that he loved, will continue to inspire and uplift all who were touched by his life. As the great Jimmy V once said, “Don’t give up, don’t ever give up”. May he rest in peace.
