Carl Dye, Jr.

Carl Dye, Jr. of Burlington passed away March 1, 2024 at the age of 52 after battling some health issues. He worked for Brook-Wood Gardens for many years. Carl was a dedicated fireman and continued in his family tradition of volunteering, continuing the family legacy going on for close to 100 years. Carl served as Fire Chief of East Windsor Fire Company 2 (46) and was Past President of East Windsor Fire Company 1 (42).  He was also a member of the NJ Exempt Firefighters Association. He enjoyed collecting antiques, fire department collectables and like to fresh water fish.

Carl was predeceased by his wife Cindy Dye (Nee: Farley) and his father Carl Dye, Sr. Carl is survived by his children: a daughter Hailey and a son Daniel Dye; his mother Gertrue Dye (Perks) his sisters and brother in law:Cyndi Magill (Dye), Cathy Dye,  Denise Farley Curial, Annette (Charles) Chuck Zelauskas; nieces: Katelyn, Kassie Magill, Amber, Amanda Zelauskas, and many friends and members of the firefighter community of Mercer and Burlington Counties. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Friday from 5:30-7:45pm. A funeral ceremony will begin at 7:45pm with the Firemans’s Service Concluding the evening.  Cremation services will be held privately by his family. Donations may be made in his memory to either East Windsor Fire Company1, East Windsor Fire Company 2 or Hightstown Fire Company 1.
