Carl J. Garman

We are saddened to announce the death of Carl Garman of Burlington,  New Jersey.  Carl passed away peacefully at home on October 23rd, 2023. Carl was born in Danville Pennsylvania on September 4th,1936 to Grant Garman and Irene Shepperson. After graduating high school Carl joined the army and was stationed in Germany where he met his wife, Emma Frimberger. After falling in love ,Emma and Carl decided to start a family in Burlington New Jersey . That is where they had sons Vincent, Robin and Lyle. Carl was a kind and gentle soul, who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was an avid baseball fan, and he spent many hours cheering on his favorite team , the Philadelphia Phillies. He also loved to garden , he took pride in growing his vegetables and watching his flowers grow.  He had a soft spot for stray animals and donated to local charities. Carl is survived by his children, Vincent (Maria) and Lyle. He leaves behind grandchildren Nicole, Gabrielle, Amanda, Justin, Jennifer and Jason, his Sisters Shirley Feaster and Vicki (Jim) Pursel. His great grandchildren Julian, Kaydin, Alia, Ella, Justin Jr, Bryson, Skylar and Greyson. As well as many nieces nephews and cousins. Carl is preceded in death by his wife Emma, his son Robin, his daughter in law Joann Garman, his grandson Eric and his sister Darlis Reader.
