Carl C. Lockley of Burlington Township passed away Monday February 17, 2025 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly at the age of 72. Born in Baltimore, MD, Carl was a longtime resident of New Jersey. He served his country honorably as a member of the US Air Force for many years, retiring as a jet engine mechanic. He moved to New Jersey while he was in the service and remained after retirement. Carl was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football, baseball and track. He was an avid fan of both the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He was very outgoing and friendly and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Carl accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior prior to his passing, something which has been a great comfort to his family. He was predeceased by his son Shawn and his eight brothers and sisters. Carl is survived by his wife Helen, his children; Clinton Lockley, Cindy Lockley and Heather Lockley, his grandchildren; Shawn Lockley, Shadae Lockley and Serenity Lockley, his greatgrandchild Lamach Lockley, his siblings Hazel Lockley, Alice and Roxanne Lockley, his former spouse Rosalyn Lockley as well as many friends and other relatives. A viewing for Carl will be held Monday, February 24th from 10:30-11:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A funeral service will begin at 11:30am. Interment will follow in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover, NJ.
