Catherine A (Carroll) Wilkins

Catherine A. Wilkins (Nee: Carroll) passed away on Saturday March 18th, 2023 at the age of 87. Born and raised in Roebling, she was a longtime Burlington resident who worked in the kitchen at the Masonic Home of New Jersey for many years. Catherine was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan who loved reading in her spare time. She enjoyed her trips to Florida to visit with her daughter and family down there. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed dearly. Catherine leaves to cherish her memory with her husband John E. Wilkins, Jr. of 65 years and children: Maryann (Chris), John Wilkins, III (Donna), Kelly Chase (Late Brian), Jason, (Pam), Matthew (Rachel); 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild & her best friend Marge. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday in St. Paul’s RC Church, 223 E. Union Street, Burlington at 10am with burial to follow in Holy Assumption Cemetery in Roebling. To respect Catherine’s wishes there will be no viewing and a private burial. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to St. Paul’s Church, St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 223 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016 or to Samaritan Hospice, c/o Samaritan Gift Processing Center, PO Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425.
