Charles T. Hos, 77, passed away June 9, 2022 after a long battle with diabetes, heart disease and most recently bladder cancer. Born in Burlington, he was a lifelong resident of the city and township. After graduating from Burlington City in 1962, he served four years in the United States Navy being honorably discharged in 1966. Chuck then entered law enforcement and retired as a Lieutenant after 23 years with the Burlington County Bridge Commission. Afterwards, he went to work for the Department of Defense at Ft. Dix, NJ, also as a Police Lieutenant for 8 years when he retired for good in 2004. He was an exempt volunteer fireman for Neptune Hose Co. No. 5 in Burlington City and a longtime member of the Oneida Boat Club, where he spent many days with his friends as well as at the horse races over the years. He was the only child of the late Mary Louise Morlack. He is survived by his son Michael and his grandchildren Paige, Mason, Madison and Logan. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Page Funeral Home.
