Charles R Winterborne

Charles R. Winterborne passed away on April 29, 2024. He was 95 years old. His kindness and thoughtfulness will be forever missed by all those who knew him and especially his children and family. He is pre-deceased by his wife of 59 years, Catherine nee-Pfeiffer. Charles was born on July 22, 1928, in Philadelphia to his parents Charles and Florence Winterborne.

Charles started his career as an auto mechanic working in his father’s auto repair shop in Philadelphia. After that he worked for Abbotts Dairy, then 23 years in Penn Fruit as a forklift mechanic. After retiring from Penn Fruit, he worked at Eastern Lift for several years. When he retired from Eastern Lift he went to work at NADE (Manheim) until he finally retired at age 87. Charles worked hard all his life and always devoted himself to his family’s care.

He is survived by brother Roger Winterborne. Also survived by his sons, Charles Winterborne (Barbara), and Robert Winterborne (Julie). His daughters Janet Clift, Donna Norcross (Ronald), and Denise Keisling (Dennis). He is also survived by his many grandchildren- Jennifer Malizia (Richard), Bill Clift (Lindsey), Elizabeth White (Tim), Charles Winterborne (Katie), Patrick Reid-Winterborne, Alexis Winterborne, Madison (Ramon), Robert Winterborne (Danielle), Ryan Winterborne, Kathryn Norcross-Hevener, Michael Keisling (pre-deceased), Ciara Keisling-Sherris (pre-deceased), Adam Keisling (Carlee) his twenty great grandchildren and his four great-great grandchildren.

          Services will be held at Page Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 10:00am-12:00pm. 302 E. Union St. Burlington, NJ 08016. Followed by a burial at Lakeview Memorial Park- 1300 Rt. 130 N, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
